The first sittings for this portrait took place in the spring of 2011 at the Blairs' home in Buckinghamshire, where Adams was able to begin to establish a pose and start working on sketches. Working from life and using reference photographs taken by Adams, the artist worked up several portraits using oils and graphite.

Images are printed in their original proportions, within a white border.
