One of the four beautiful daughters of the 7th Earl Beauchamp known in society circles as the 'Beauchamp Belles'. Lady Lygon married Prince Vsevolod of Russia in 1939. They divorced in 1956, after which she returned to her birth name and title. Noted for her 'sense of fun and appreciation of wit and humour', she was also known for her charity work, particularly during the Second World War when she ran a Red Cross unit known as 'Princess Pavlovsky's Unit'.
