Ken Livingstone (left) became the Mayor London in 2000, the first holder of a newly created post. Photographed in Greater London Authority (GLA ) Building, Romney House with Bob Kiley, the Commissioner of Transport for London. Recruited from America, Kiley reorganised the New York subway system and was brought to London to revamp London's ailing transport system. Taken at the GLA Building, Romney House, London SW1.
