Artist, son of the artist and gallery owner, Helen Lessore trained at the Slade School of Art and currently teaches at the Royal Academy Schools. A painter of figures, portraits, interiors and landscapes. Lessore was commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery in 1997 to undertake a portrait of the architects of the new Ondaatje Wing.
