Writer, physicist and scientific administrator, C.P. Snow's literary arena is based in academic and political corridors of power and questions the divergence of science and the arts. His best known works are the series Strangers and Brothers (1940-70) and The Two Cultures and the Scientific Revolution (Rede Lecture, 1959).
