Having started in the family firm, manufacturers of artist's materials, Park developed an interest in photography and became a professional portraitist. He was a founder member of the London Salon of Photography in 1910. Park set up studios on Dover Street, London with Marcus Adams and his wife Yvonne Gregory in 1919.
