Fashion entrepreneur and husband of Mary Quant. Plunket Greene and his wife helped to revolutionise the British fashion scene in the 1960s. Together with their friend Archie McNair, Plunket Greene and Quant opened Bazaar in 1955, a fashion boutique on King's Road, Chelsea. They sold Quant's designs and devised eye-catching window displays. Bazaar was one of the first shops to cater for the young, selling affordable clothes made of simple shapes and vibrant colours.
