Broadcaster and television executive; Huw Wheldon joined the BBC in 1952 as publicity officer, moving on to become a senior producer. He presented the children's programme All Your Own (1952-61) and conducted interviews for Panorama but became particularly associated with Monitor (1957-64), a Sunday night arts programme which he hosted from 1958-65.
