Scottish born actor and director. Best known for his portrait of the curmudgeonly Victor Meldrew in the television comedy series One Foot in the Grave. Wilson has also appeared in numerous stage productions including Krapp's Last Tape at Sheffield Crucible Theatre in 2014. An associate director at the Royal Court, he directed Roland Schimmelpfennig's The Woman Before (2005).
