Best known for his slapstick, energetic physical humour. Evans performed as a comedian in working men's clubs and on the alternative circuit before success at the Edinburgh Festival in 1988. He went on to win the Perrier Award in 1993. His tours have also attracted great success, performing to over 500,000 people on a fifty-nine date UK tour Big (2008).
