The first wife of British composer Constant Lambert who through his work was surrounded by artistic and creative people. She was considered to be extraordinarily beautiful with a rare and exotic look, though her heritage is uncertain. They married in 1931 soon after they met. She signed her name on the marriage certificate as 'F. Kaye' and gave her age as '18', though she may have been younger.
