Cledwyn Hughes, Baron Cledwyn of Penrhos, was a Welsh Labour politician. He entered Parliament in the 1951 general election and remained as an MP until 1979. He served in a number of senior offices including Secretary of State for Wales, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and Chairman of the Parliamentary Labour Party.
