Guitarist and songwriter. Born in North London, Kemp was obsessed with song writing from a young age and was given a guitar for his eleventh birthday. In 1976 he and four school friends formed the Cut which would evolve into Spandau Ballet and become a leading New Romantic band of the 1980s.
