This interesting photograph records a visit to London of the Prince of Berar (far right),with his future father-in-law, the Caliph of Turkey and his bride to be, a month before the wedding at the Hilafet palace, Nice, France on 20 December 1931. The Prince of Berar was the son of the Nizam of Hyderabad.
The Princess was a painter and poet and brought modern ideas of women's role in society to Hyderabad.
