Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox met in 1971, but it was another nine years before they formed The Eurythmics and went on to record eight No. I albums and twenty No. I singles during the 198s including Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) with lyrics by Lennox and music by Stewart.
