Architect. Studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris with Arthur J. Davis. Designed the Ritz Hotel in Paris (1898 )and made Davis his London partner in 1900. Together they designed the London Ritz Hotel (1903-6) and the Royal Automobile Club (1908-11). The new Clubhouse took three years to complete and was eventually opened in March 1911, at a cost of £250,000.
