Carriage Dress - Taffetas robe striped and figured in blue and white, a low corsage very full draped in front, tight back. Short sleeve, composed of three double biais over a long sleeve of India muslin, made demi-large at the upper part, but confined on the fore-arm by embroidered entre deux, to each of which a row of lace is attached. High chemisette, also ornamented with entre deux. The skirt is rather more than a three-quarter length, displaying two embroidered flounces... more
