Edna Clarke Hall was a painter, printmaker, illustrator and poet, primarily known for her drawings. She attended the Slade School of Art from 1895-99 where she was a contemporary of Gwen and Augustus John, William Orpen and Ambrose McEvoy. In 1899 she married the barrister William Clarke Hall.
