He and Dodgson met frequently and dined, worked and travelled together. Dodgson asked Faussett's advice on mathematical and artistic matters and they more than once conducted church services together. In London, they visited the law courts, the House of Commons, the theatre and art galleries. In 1893, Dodgson presented Faussett with a copy of his Curiosa Mathematica (Part II) inscribed 'with sincere regards to his old pupil'.
