Journalist, writer, presenter and television producer. Born Janet Bull in South London, she was married to photographer Tim Street-Porter (1967-75). Street-Porter studied architecture before taking up journalism, joining the Daily Mail in 1969 and the Evening Standard in 1971. In 1975, she moved to television.
