Bernardine Evaristo Unisex t-shirt

Multi-award winning British writer, critic, editor and poet. Evaristo was born in Woolwich, south east London, to an English mother and a Nigerian father who migrated to Britain in 1949. She attended schools in London and graduated from Goldsmiths College, University of London, where she earned her Doctorate of Philosophy (Creative Writing). She has published several works of fiction which explore aspects of the African diaspora. Mr Loverman was published in 2013, winning the Publishing Triangle Ferro-Grumley Award for LGBT Fiction (USA) and the Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize. She received an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List in 2009 and jointly won the Booker Prize in 2019.
