by Henry Herschel Hay Cameron (later The Cameron Studio)

The youngest son of the great photographer Julia Margaret Cameron, Cameron became a professional photographer and established a portrait studio on Mortimer Street, London, during the mid 1880s. His early work reflected his mother's style but he developed his own approach and his technique, especially in printmaking, was considered superior to hers. He was a founder member of the Linked Ring. In 1905 he gave up photography in favour of a career on the stage.
