An architect, who co-founded Hopkins Architects, along with her husband Michael Hopkins, in 1976. She was made an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Institute of Architects in Scotland in 1996 and the American Institute of Architects in 1997. In 1994 she was awarded the RIBA Gold Medal for Architecture, along with her husband. Her most notable works involve; the new opera house at Glyndebourne and the Jubilee Campus of the University of Nottingham.
