Our brand new Crown jewellery collection is inspired by a tiara worn by Elizabeth II.

This range draws inspiration from the tiara worn by the young Elizabeth II in a portrait from a series taken by photographer Dorothy Wilding in February 1952, shortly after the accession. 

In this photograph, Elizabeth II wears the tiara destined to become her personal favourite. Known as 'The Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara' it was originally gifted to Queen Mary in 1893 by an eponymous committee, and was made by London Jeweller Gerrard.

This beautiful jewellery piece encapsulates the elegance and finials of the design in to a range of simplified, modern classic pieces. 

This piece comes with a beautiful foil embossed jewellery box and commemorative insert, perfect for gifting.

Licensed to Charm is a designer and maker of collectable jewellery which is full of character, unique and totally authentic. Everything is designed and made in the UK by skilled artisans in the established jewellery trade in London, Birmingham and Scotland.

Founded in 2012, the business was initially a small family-run workshop and boutique shop creating and making its own designs. In 2018 during a visit to Bologna book fair founder Maggie Calmels had the idea to recreate favourite characters and objects with a special place in people’s memories as collectable charm jewellery and so Licensed to Charm was born.

Charms and pendants are made using traditional lost-wax casting while flat tags are made using a photo etching and engraving process.
