French actress and violinist. Made her stage debut as a violinist in 1911 at the Olympia in Paris. Performed across Europe, appearing in London at the Prince of Wales Theatre in Bran-Pie(1919). Appeared in 23 films between 1923 and 1952 in which year she starred in the Broadway production of South Pacific. Founded Inn Chez Odette, a cabaret club in Pennsylvania, and became a well-known dress designer in Beverley Hills.
