Toilettes d'Enfant - Half Mourning Dress - Tunique, or short redingote, of thin muslin. The corsage is made low, and à-l'enfant, with gathers at the bottom of the waist, both at back and front. Round the neck is a deep gauffred tucker, in the style of a revers (see plate). Sleeves short and tight, with gauffred ruffles at bottom.
