In 1965, Peter Boizot Pizza Express, Britain's first exclusively pizza restaurant in London. The chain has now become the multi-million pound company Pizza Express plc. Boizot also founded and directed the first Soho Jazz Festival, and his lifelong interest in hockey has resulted in his Presidency of several prestigious hockey clubs. He was also an Honorary Vice-President of the English Hockey Association, and owner and Chairman of Peterborough United Football Club.
