In 2001, the prima ballerina Darcey Bussell diversified her professional activity by joining her childhood friend Lindsay Taylor in the textiles design firm Bussell & Taylor, for which Taylor designs the company's velvets, raw silks, embroidered bolsters and hangings. These are hand-woven and individually embroidered in India for the firm.
