Marjorie Wallace is the founder and chief executive of SANE, the mental health charity. As a journalist in the 1980s she wrote a series of articles in The Times about the paucity of mental health services in the UK. The response to these articles led to the formation of SANE, now one of the country's leading charities in this field.
