by Daniel Farson

Heavyweight boxer Sir Henry Cooper's fight against Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) in 1963 was one of the greatest events in British boxing history. Cooper was defeated but the match was very close, only ending when a cut opened up on Cooper's forehead. Cooper was left-handed and had a strong left hook. His long and successful career began when he was a teenager, competing in the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. In 1970, he was British, European and Commonwealth heavyweight champion. Incredibly popular in Britain, Cooper was the first person to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year twice, in 1967 and 1970.

Royal Mail and our other regular global couriers have stopped asking for signatures when delivering parcels to customers. In cases where a parcel does not fit through a letterbox, the courier will leave the item at the door, and will step aside after knocking to ensure there is a safe distance while you retrieve your parcel.

In addition, some couriers are experiencing delays at this time. We would be grateful if you could have patience with us during this challenging time.
