Regular price £40.00

Drawing inspiration from the self-portrait of Doris Zinkeisen, this scarf was designed exclusively for the National Portrait Gallery by Amet & Ladoue.

With her sister Anna, Doris Zinkeisen was a familiar figure in the artistic world from the 1920s. Her realist style led to success as a painter of society portraits, horse paintings, and murals for RMS Queen Mary (1935) and RMS Queen Elizabeth (1940). She also produced posters for several railway companies. She is best known, however, for the numerous stage designs that she produced during the 1920s and 1930s.

Royal Mail and our other regular global couriers have stopped asking for signatures when delivering parcels to customers. In cases where a parcel does not fit through a letterbox, the courier will leave the item at the door, and will step aside after knocking to ensure there is a safe distance while you retrieve your parcel.

In addition, some couriers are experiencing delays at this time. We would be grateful if you could have patience with us during this challenging time.
