The Russian-born ballet dancer Kyasht studied at the St Petersburg Imperial Ballet school and joined the Maryinsky Theatre in 1902. Kyasht moved to London and was engaged by the Empire Theatre in 1908, she made her debut in London in a series of divertissements with Adolf Bolm. She became principal dancer at the Empire Theatre, 1908-13. She appeared as Swanilde in Coppélia (1908) and premiered in Sylvia (1911).
