Margaret Tudor was the elder of the two surviving daughters of King Henry VII and Elizabeth of York. She was the elder sister of Henry VIII. In 1503 she married James IV, King of Scots, thus becoming the mother of James V and grandmother of Mary, Queen of Scots.
