Danish comedian, actress, writer and broadcaster Sandi Toksvig has written plays and musicals for the theatre, published several novels and travel titles and many children's books. Educated at Girton College, Cambridge, she joined the Footlights and performed in its first all-woman show. She went on to become one of the Comedy Store Players.
