Cornelia Sorabji Unisex Crew Neck T-shirt
Organic cotton unisex crew neck t-shirt featuring Cornelia Sorabji.
Sorabji was the woman admitted to the Deccan College in Poona where she graduated with a 1st class degree. Later she was the first female graduate from Bombay University, the first woman to read Law at Oxford University and the first Indian national to study at any British university. Although it was not possible for women to become barristers until 1919, she continued to read Law with a solicitors' firm at Lincoln's Inn, until she was called to the bar in 1922, becoming the first woman to practise Law in India and Britain where she was actively involved in social reforms. Her publications include India Calling (1934) and India Recalled (1936). She helped edit Queen Mary`s Book for India (1943).
