President of the RIBA (1993-5). Duffy established the practice DEGW in 1974, and has demonstrated an interest in the future of the office and the flexible use of space. Other projects include the Camelia Botnar Laboratories at Great Ormonde St Children's Hospital (1996) and extensions to Boots' headquarters in Nottingham (1997).
