Wyndham was a Scottish contralto, trained at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She made her debut at Covent Garden in 1836, and married Frederick Lablache (son of Luigi Lablache, also featured in this display) the following year. After her retirement from the stage in 1865, she taught at the Royal Academy of Music.
